Job Description:
Associate (IP)
• Familiar with prosecution work, including dealing with office actions, drafting specification of goods and services for trademark applications, and conducting trademark availability searches and advising on registrability of the trademarks.
• Experience in pre-trial preparation and trial proceedings.
• Familiar with international registration of trademarks.
Senior Associate (Litigation)
• Managing and conducting a broad range of litigation and arbitration matters, including drafting pleadings, submissions, affidavits, witness statements and pre-trial/arbitration documents.
• Liaising with clients, experts, opposing counsel, court and arbitral tribunal for litigation/arbitration proceedings.
• Oversee and mentor junior lawyers, pupils and interns.
• Assist in business development and client relationship management.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Associate (IP)
• Must possess a LLB (Hons) of at least 2:1 from a reputable university.
• PQE of 1 to 3 years with relevant practice experience in Intellectual Property practice in a reputable legal firm
• Strong legal research and drafting skills
• Good time management and interpersonal skills
• Highly analytical and meticulous with great attention to detail
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Possess current licence to practice law in Malaysia
Senior Associate (Litigation)
• Must possess a minimum LLB (Hons) 2:1 degree from reputable university
• Minimum PQE of 4 years in proven comparable law firm, experience in one or more of the following areas, i.e. General Litigation, Corporate and Commercial Litigation, Commercial Arbitration and/or Construction Arbitration.
• Must have trial and arbitration experience.
• Good interpersonal and management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Business development skills.
• Possess current practising certificate to practise law in Malaysia.
• Must possess a LLB (Hons) of at least 2:1 from a reputable university.
