Job Description:
Pupil-in-Chambers
1. Pupil will be assigned to the chambers of one of our partners under the Construction / Corporate Dispute team.
Legal Associate
1. Assist in handling litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, affidavits, and related documents.
2. Attend court proceedings, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution forums (with supervision where necessary).
3. Conduct legal research and assist in preparing legal opinions.
4. Attend to clients and carry out assigned tasks.
5. Report to Partner(s), provide updates, and take instructions diligently.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Candidates must meet the requirements under the LPA.
2. Positive attitude, proactive and eager to learn.
Legal Associate
1. Candidates must be freshly called to the Bar or have up to 3 years’ experience in civil litigation.
2. Responsible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
3. Good drafting, research and communication skills.
4. Positive attitude, proactive and eager to learn.
5. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken).
