Job Description:
1. Legal Associate (Corporate)

- Assist in advising clients on corporate and commercial law matters.
- Draft, review, and assist in negotiating corporate and commercial agreements, including service agreements, shareholders' agreements, and other related documents.
- Assist in mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and other corporate transactions, including due diligence exercises.
- Advice clients on company incorporations, resolutions, statutory filings, and general corporate secretarial matters (where applicable).
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda or reports.
- Liaise with clients, regulators, and external parties under supervision.
- Support senior lawyer & Partner in transaction management and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal procedures.
- Travel outstation to organize corporate seminar.
- Organize and manage clients onsite signing ceremony.

2) Senior / Junior Legal Associate (Conveyancing)

- To handle and manage various conveyancing matters including Subsales, Developer projects, Refinancing (individual and corporate loans), Auction, Transfer, and Transmission cases.
- To draft, review, and prepare legal documentation relating to conveyancing and banking transactions.
- To liaise with clients, bankers, agents, developers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth completion of transactions.
- To monitor timelines and key dates (e.g., completion date, stamping, presentation, CKHT filing, signing appointments) and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- To ensure proper execution of documentation, follow-ups, and file management.
- To assist in providing legal advice and solutions on conveyancing matters when required.
- To produce accurate weekly progress reports and updates to the supervising lawyer/partner.

2. Junior / Senior Conveyancing Clerk

- Assist in handling conveyancing matters from initial stage until completion.
- Support and manage various types of conveyancing files, including sub-sale, direct sale, auction, and refinancing cases.
- Prepare and manage legal documentation related to banking, developers, and relevant authorities.
- Liaise with clients, bankers, developers, and government bodies to ensure smooth progress of files.
- Monitor file progress and ensure timelines and deadlines are met.
- Maintain proper documentation, filing, and record-keeping.
- Provide weekly progress reports on assigned files.
- Ensure compliance with firm SOPs, procedures, and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Legal Associate (Corporate)

Academic & Professional Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent from a recognised institution.
- Called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.

Experience :
- 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate, commercial legal practice, litigation and/or conveyancing practice.
- Prior corporate and/or litigation experience in a law firm or in-house legal department is preferred.
- Exposure to corporate transactions, commercial contracts, or regulatory work will be an advantage.

Skills & Competencies :
- Proficient in English & Mandarin (verbal and written).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of corporate and commercial laws and litigation
- Good drafting and legal research skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and take instructions from superior
- Plus point: Critical thinking skills & commercial sense

Other Requirements :
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research database
- Team-oriented with a professional and responsible attitude
- Able to work independently & think critically
- Committed & eager to learn & grow

2) Senior/ Junior Legal Associate (Conveyancing)

Academic & Professional Qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Hons.) with a valid Practicing Certificate.

Experience:
- Senior Legal Associate (Conveyancing): Minimum 5 years of experience in general conveyancing, particularly in Developer project and Loan transactions.
- Junior Legal Associate (Conveyancing): Minimum 2–3 years of experience in general conveyancing, particularly in Auction/Developer project and Loan transactions.
- Familiar with banking and developer documentation as well as relevant government authority procedures and timelines.
- Experience in mentoring or overseeing legal clerks is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies:
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and organised, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in managing multiple files and meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive working attitude.
- Ability to adapt to different banks’ requirements, portals, and procedures.
- Disciplined and detail-oriented, with the ability to guide subordinates in maintaining clear and accurate file status reports.

Other Requirements:
- Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period (added advantage).

2. Junior/ Senior Conveyancing Clerk

- Minimum 1-5years experience in conveyancing practice.
- Familiar with banking and developer documentation, as well as government authority procedures and timelines.
- Able to manage multiple files independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
- Good time management and strong sense of responsibility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive working attitude.
- Able to adapt to different banks' requirements, portals, and procedures.
- Team player with good discipline and commitment.
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice is an added advantage.
