Job Description:
We are looking for a driven lawyer to join our firm on a fully remote and flexible working basis at present, supporting our Corporate and/or Litigation practices. While the position is currently fully remote, the role may require occasional physical attendance at client meetings and court proceedings where necessary.
Corporate / Commercial, M&A and Capital Markets
- Advise on corporate and commercial matters, including M&As, joint ventures, shareholders arrangements, and corporate restructuring.
- Draft, review, and assist in the negotiation of corporate and commercial agreements, including Share Sale Agreements (SSA), Shareholders Agreements (SHA), subscription and investment agreements, and commercial contracts.
- Conduct legal due diligence and prepare due diligence reports.
- Assist in capital markets related work, including drafting and reviewing announcements, circulars, submission documents, information memorandum and prospectuses.
Litigation
- Draft court cause papers, pleadings, and submissions.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions.
- Attend court proceedings where required.
- Assist in handling civil, corporate and commercial litigation matters.
Corporate / Commercial, M&A and Capital Markets

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate and/or litigation, preferably with a reputable/leading law firm.
- Experience in corporate & commercial matters, M&As and equity capital markets transactions is highly preferred.
- Ability to independently manage and lead files and transactions from inception to completion, including direct client communications, drafting and negotiations.
- Strong sense of responsibility, meticulous, reliable and committed to high standards of work.
- Excellent research, drafting, and opinion-writing skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
- Willing to learn, able to work under pressure, and capable of meeting deadlines.
- Available to commence employment in July 2026.
