Job Description:
Chambering Student
• To assist lawyers in handling conveyancing matters, including sub-sale transactions, developer projects, bank loan documentation, discharge of charge, perfection of transfer and charge and other related property transactions.
• To assist in probate and administration matters, including applications for Grant of Probate and Letters of Administration.
• To liaise with clients, bankers, real estate agents, developers, government authorities and other relevant parties to ensure the smooth progression of files.
• Monitor and follow up on case progress, deadlines and documentation requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Partners from time to time.
Conveyancing Clerk
• To handle conveyancing matters, ie: sub-sales, projects, bank loans, discharge, perfection of transfer & charge and other related matters.
• Able to work efficiently and independently with minimum supervision and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to liaise with clients, bank officers, agents, developers and various government bodies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• LLB and Bar/CLP Qualifications
• Have good typing and computer skills, MS Word & Excel
• Have good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken. Candidate who can speak and write in Mandarin and speak in Cantonese will have an added advantage.
• Good working attitude, diligent, reliable, responsible, committed to job responsibilities, meticulous and willing to learn
• Possess own transport and willing to travel for client meetings when required
• Candidate with experience in conveyancing field will be an advantage
• Able to start work immediately are preferred
