Job Description:
1. CONVEYANCING & LITIGATION LAWYER (Potential Partnership Opportunity)
Job Description:
i. To conduct research on points of law;
ii. To assist the firm in drafting cause papers for general litigation and family law matters, attending case management and attending court trials;
iii. To source and develop new business for the Firm’s conveyancing, litigation, and corporate portfolio;
iv. To assist in handling documents for sub-sale property matters, discharge of loan, perfection of transfer, transmission, and other conveyancing matters (if necessary, minimal, as the primary scope of work is litigation);
v. Good personality and positive working attitude;
vi. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia;
vii. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT systems.
2. Legal INTERN
As a Legal Intern, you will have the opportunity to:
a) Conduct in-depth legal research and assist in developing case strategies.
b) Prepare civil litigation cause papers, bundles of documents, records of appeal, and related legal materials.
c) Draft and review letters and correspondence in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
d) Provide administrative and client support, including attending to calls and file management.
e) Assist in legal research for media features, legal interviews, and public legal talks (including radio or TV segments), and draft interview materials or talking points for lawyers.
Throughout your internship, you will:
1) Gain hands-on exposure to the day-to-day workings of a law firm.
2) Work closely with lawyers on research, drafting, and case preparation.
3) Be involved in client and case management to develop essential practical skills.
4) Experience the professional culture and expectations of legal practice.
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to bridge academic learning with real-world experience, preparing you for pupillage and a rewarding legal career.

1. CONVEYANCING & LITIGATION LAWYER
i. Possess a Bachelor of Laws (LLB);
ii. Good communication and interpersonal skills;
iii. Willing to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities.

2. LEGAL INTERN
a) Law student or fresh graduate currently pursuing or having completed a recognized law degree;
b)Strong interest in litigation and dispute resolution, with solid legal research and writing skills;
c)Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written); proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage;
d)Tech-savvy and familiar with legal research databases;
e)Confident, proactive, and eager to learn, with a positive attitude towards challenges and growth;
f)Possesses excellent communication and computer skills, and a caring, professional work ethic.
