Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Conveyancing Clerk to handle a full caseload of SME loan documentation and sub-sale conveyancing files from opening to completion, with minimal supervision.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Responsibilities
• Handle SME / commercial loan files end-to-end — from Letter of Offer to release of facility.
• Prepare and complete security documents: Facility Agreement, Form 16A / Charge Annexure, Deed of Assignment & Power of Attorney, Letter of Guarantee and Indemnity, and related instruments.
• Handle sub-sale conveyancing files: SPA, Form 14A (MOT), adjudication and stamping, consent applications, and registration at the Land Office.
• Conduct land and company (SSM) searches; attend to bankruptcy and winding-up searches.
• Liaise with banks, company secretaries, developers, land offices, LHDN and clients on documentation and conditions precedent.
• Monitor conditions precedent, prepare Letters of Advice / release of facility, and follow through to disbursement.
• Maintain files, diaries and correspondence in good order.
Requirements
• Minimum 3–5 years' hands-on conveyancing experience, including SME / commercial loan documentation and sub-sale files.
• Familiar with panel bank documentation and procedures (conventional and Islamic facilities an advantage).
• Working knowledge of the National Land Code, stamping and adjudication procedures, and Land Office practice.
• Able to run a file independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple matters at once.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, written and spoken.
• Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, e-filing / e-stamping portals).
• Meticulous, organised and able to work under pressure.
What We Offer
• Good remuneration package commensurate with experience.
• Supportive team environment with steady, quality file flow.
• Opportunity to take on greater responsibility and grow with the firm.
