Job Description:
Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries, legal opinions and research notes.
Assist in drafting pleadings, affidavits, written submissions, letters of demand, cause papers and other legal
documents.
Assist lawyers in preparing for hearings, trials, appeals and case management.
Attend court proceedings, client meetings and conferences with supervising lawyers.
Review and organise evidence, documents and authorities relevant to ongoing cases.
Assist in preparing bundles of documents, bundles of authorities and other court documents.
Liaise with clients, court personnel, opposing solicitors and relevant authorities when required.
Assist in managing case files, deadlines and court directions.
Perform other litigation-related duties as assigned by the supervising lawyers.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Possess a recognised LL.B. degree and be eligible to commence pupillage in Malaysia.
Strong interest in litigation, advocacy and dispute resolution.
Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.
Good legal research, drafting and analytical skills.
Responsible, disciplined and able to work under deadlines.
Willing to learn, take initiative and handle challenging assignments.
Able to work as part of a team.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
