Job Description:
* Strictly no negativity and office politics
1. CONVEYANCING LAWYER
Key Responsibilities
- Handle conveyancing matters including sub-sale, developer projects and loan documentation from commencement to completion.
- Prepare, draft, review and attend to Sale & Purchase Agreements, loan documentation and related conveyancing documents.
- Handle perfection of transfer, perfection of charge and discharge of charge matters.
-Liaise with clients, purchasers, vendors, bankers, developers, agents, other solicitors and relevant government authorities.
-Attend to clients for signing and provide updates on the progress of files.
-Monitor completion dates, stamping, registration and other relevant timelines.
-Follow up actively on outstanding matters and ensure files progress smoothly.
-Prepare correspondence, status updates and other legal documents as required.
-Assist the Partner in managing and supervising ongoing conveyancing files.
-Undertake other related legal work and assignments as may be required from time to time.
2. PARA LEGAL/ DRAFTING LEGAL CLERK
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in preparing and drafting legal documentations.
- Prepare first drafts of documents based on precedents and instructions from lawyers.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing conveyancing and other legal documentation.
- Format, proofread and ensure accuracy of legal documents before submission or execution.
- Assist lawyers in preparing documentation for SPA, loan, discharge, perfection and other conveyancing matters, where required.
- Liaise with clients, banks, developers, other solicitors and relevant parties for documentation and follow-up matters.
-Maintain proper filing and document management, both physical and electronic.
- Follow up on outstanding documents and ensure matters are attended to within the required timelines.
- Assist lawyers with day-to-day legal and administrative work.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Partner or lawyers.

Qualifications and Requirements:
1. CONVEYANCING LAWYER
- Mandarin/ Cantonese speaking (added advantage)
- LL.B. Degree and admitted to the Malaysian Bar with a valid Practising Certificate.
- 2–4 years of relevant post-qualification experience in conveyancing practice.
- Candidates with experience in project and sub-sale SPA and loan documentation.
- Able to handle conveyancing files with reasonable independence and minimal supervision.
-Good drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple files, meet deadlines and work under pressure when required.
- Responsible, proactive, meticulous and committed.
- Positive working attitude and good interpersonal skills.
- Teamwork spirit, responsible, proactive, meticulous and willing to support and assist other team members when required.
- Own transport is preferred.
2. PARA LEGA// DRAFTING LEGAL CLERK
We are also open to candidates who may have 2 years' experience but demonstrate strong technical knowledge, good drafting ability and the right attitude.
- Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in a legal firm;
- Strong English drafting and writing skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and document formatting.
- Experience in preparing legal documents and correspondence is highly preferred.
- Conveyancing experience will be an advantage.
- Able to read, understand and work from precedents and instructions.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Organised, responsible, reliable and able to meet deadlines.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Mandarin/Cantonese speaking ability will be an added advantage.
- Positive working attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong teamwork spirit, with the ability to work collaboratively with lawyers, clerks and other team members
