Job Description:
1. Assist lawyers in the preparation, handling and management of legal matters across the Firm's practice
areas, including litigation, corporate and conveyancing matters.
2. Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, legal principles and procedures, and prepare research
notes, case summaries, legal opinions and other supporting materials as required.
3. Prepare legal correspondences, notices, legal opinions as well as pleadings, affidavits, written submissions, and other cause papers for litigation matters.
4. Attend court proceedings, such as case managements, hearings, trials, and mediations where required.
5. Monitor and manage litigation files, including managing and complying to deadlines, court directions.
6. Prepare or review corporate and commercial documents, including agreements, resolutions, and others.
7. Assist and support in conveyancing matters, including sub-sale transactions, project transactions, financing
& loan documentation, perfection of transfer, perfection of charge, discharge and other property-related matters.
9. Prepare and review Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPA), loan and financing documentation, related
forms, correspondence and supporting documents according to the requirements of each transaction.
10. Liaise with and follow-up on matters involving clients, opposing solicitors, banks, developers,
purchasers, borrowers, property agents, government authorities, court registries and other relevant parties.
13. Maintain proper organization of files, status reports and internal operating systems, and
ensure relevant documents, correspondences, deadlines and developments are properly recorded.
14. Attend to other legal, clerical and administrative work, and any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the
Firm.

Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Possess an LLB, CLP or other recognized qualification to commence pupillage in Malaysia.
2. Ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.
3. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills with a positive working attitude.
4. Responsible, hardworking, meticulous and willing to learn.
5. Has own transport.
6. Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
