Job Description:
Associate / Senior Associate (Corporate and/or Litigation):-

We are looking for a driven lawyer to join our firm on a fully remote and flexible working basis at present, supporting our Corporate and/or Litigation practices. While the position is currently fully remote, the role may require occasional physical attendance at client meetings and court proceedings where necessary.

Corporate / Commercial, M&A and Capital Markets
- Advise on corporate and commercial matters, including M&As, joint ventures, shareholders arrangements, and corporate restructuring.
- Draft, review, and assist in the negotiation of corporate and commercial agreements, including Share Sale Agreements (SSA), Shareholders Agreements (SHA), subscription and investment agreements, and commercial contracts.
- Conduct legal due diligence and prepare due diligence reports.
- Assist in capital markets related work, including drafting and reviewing announcements, circulars, submission documents, information memorandum and prospectuses.

Litigation
- Draft court cause papers, pleadings, and submissions.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions.
- Attend court proceedings where required.
- Assist in handling civil, corporate and commercial litigation matters.

Business Development Manager:-

- Develop and implement business development strategies to grow the firm's clientele.
- Identify and pursue potential clients, business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Work closely with the firm's partners to drive business growth and strengthen the firm's market presence.


Qualifications and Requirements:
Associate / Senior Associate (Corporate and/or Litigation):-

- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate and/or litigation, preferably with a reputable/leading law firm.
- Experience in corporate & commercial matters, M&As and equity capital markets transactions is highly preferred.
- Ability to independently manage and lead files and transactions from inception to completion, including direct client communications, drafting and negotiations.
- Strong sense of responsibility, meticulous, reliable and committed to high standards of work.
- Excellent research, drafting, and opinion-writing skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is added advantage.
- Willing to learn, able to work under pressure, and capable of meeting deadlines.
- Available to commence employment in October / November 2026.

Business Development Manager:-

- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business, Marketing or a related field.
- Relevant business development experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services firm.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
- Strong business acumen, proactive and results-oriented.
