Job Description:
Robert Devan & Co. is seeking a motivated and competent Litigation Lawyer with a minimum of two (2) years' post-qualification experience to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing litigation matters, conducting legal research, drafting cause papers and submissions, attending court proceedings, and advising clients on contentious legal matters.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing civil litigation and dispute resolution matters independently, from commencement to conclusion.
Drafting pleadings, affidavits, submissions, applications, written opinions and other court documents.
Attending case managements, hearings, trials and other court proceedings.
Conducting legal research and preparing case strategies.
Liaising with clients, opposing solicitors, courts and relevant stakeholders.
Managing deadlines, case files and litigation documentation effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or equivalent recognised legal qualification.
Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
Minimum of two (2) years' post-qualification experience (2 PQE).
Proven experience in civil litigation and dispute resolution.
Strong drafting, research, analytical and advocacy skills.
Able to manage files independently, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
Responsible, detail-oriented, proactive and committed to professional development.
Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
