Job Description:
This is a full-time position based in Johor Bahru.
We welcome applications from candidates who are currently based in Johor Bahru, as well as those who are willing to relocate there.
Scope of Work
- Civil and commercial disputes
- Contractual disputes
- Debt recovery and enforcement proceedings
- Property and landlord-tenant disputes
- Injunctions and other interlocutory applications
- Contested probate / estate matters
- Drafting pleadings, affidavits, submissions and legal opinions
- Attending Court and managing litigation files
- Advising clients and assisting with litigation strategy

Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualifications and Requirements
- Admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya with a valid Practising Certificate
- Preferably 2-4 years of actual experience in civil litigation
- Able to handle files with a reasonable degree of independence
- Good drafting, research and advocacy skills
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Mandarin proficiency will be an advantage
- Responsible, organised and able to communicate well with clients
- Willing to travel when required
