Job Description:
1. Associate - in PIA
- The firm is seeking a bright and enthusiastic associate to join its well established energy, projects and infrastructure team.
- The ideal candidate will be a junior to mid-level associate of not less than 2 to 3 years post-qualification experience gained in advising governments, developers, sponsors, contractors, financiers and/or consultants on power, water, oil & gas, transport or other utility/infrastructure development projects, including in particular non-contentious construction matters.
- Familiarity with relevant documents such as power purchase agreements, concession agreements and/or EPC contracts would be highly advantageous although commercially aware candidates from a corporate background with advanced drafting skills and keen interest in the projects field may be also considered.
2. Secretary – in Financial Services
- To provide secretarial/office administrative support in the day-to-day running of the department.
- To organise and manage correspondences, reports and travel arrangements.
- To maintain good order to all business correspondences, records and administrative facilities, which include but not limited to mails, fax distribution, filing/documents keeping and etc.
- To always ensure that there is a high-level of confidentiality in the affairs of the department.
- To perform any other work as when required.
3. Legal Executive – in IPT
- Preparing legal documents, applications, letters to the Malaysian Intellectual Property Department
- Compose and revise documents for attorneys, including letters, depositions and filing forms
- Conduct market surveys and raids
- Filing of Trade Mark and Patent application in Malaysia for local clients and overseas associates
- Ensure legal documents are processed and handled in a timely and efficient manner in order to comply with appropriate regulations and deadlines
- Liaising with officers at the Malaysian Registry
- File and archive all documents in compliance with the files and subject matters
- Assume ad-hoc assignment as required

Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Associate - PIA
- Candidates should have 2 to 4 years of post-qualification experience handling matters relating to Project & International Arbitration.
- Excellent communication skills are key: the ability to listen attentively, engage actively and concisely and effectively communicate matters in oral and written form.
- Solid organisational and time management skills are pre-requisites with ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a professional demeanour and strong work ethics are also required to work well in order to collaborate with and receive guidance and support from seasoned team members.
- Candidate should also possess good analytical, management and multi-tasking skills.
- We also seek a detail-oriented candidate with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service oriented environment.
- Strong academic credentials at a top tier United Kingdom law school are highly valued.
- Admission to the Malaysian Bar is required for application to the position.
2. Secretary - in Financial Services
- Minimum 1 -2 years relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
- Preferably Junior Executive specializing in Secretarial/Executive & Personal Assistant or equivalent.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong coordination and interpersonal skill.
- Meticulous and able to work independently under minimum supervision.

- Candidate must possess minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Laws (LLB).
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Able to speak and write English fluently.
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Law/Legal Services or equivalent.
- Full-Time position(s) available
