Job Description:
1) LEGAL ASSOCIATE (CONVEYANCING & COMMERCIAL)
- Draft, negotiate, review, comment and advice on various legal documentation in relation to conveyancing and real estate matters (e.g. sub-sales, auctions, developers projects, tenancies, leases, mortgage financings etc.);
- Draft, negotiate, review, comment and advice on various legal documentation in relation to commercial matters (e.g. individual & commercial contracts, SME and commercial financings etc.);
- Works closely with clients, developers, real estate agents, management bodies and financiers;
- Interpret, analyze, identify and resolve issues arising under the law, including but not limited to the National Land Code 1965, Contracts Act 1950, Companies Act 2016, any guidelines issued by the relevant authorities and any relevant acts, regulations and laws;
- Liaising and coordinating with various local and regulatory authorities including Inland Revenue Board Malaysia (LHDN), local authorities including MBJB, MBIP, etc., relevant land offices, Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) and Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) etc.
2) CHAMBERING PUPIL
- To be exposed in conveyancing & commercial practice and general litigation.
- Assist solicitors in preparing and handling the relevant agreements, documentations and cause papers including conducting legal researches.
- Corresponding, attending and communicating with clients, bankers and various government bodies;
- Preparing status report and other types of work assigned by the firm from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements:
1) LEGAL ASSOCIATE (CONVEYANCING & COMMERCIAL)
- Minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Laws (LLB);
- Interested and possess sound knowledge in conveyancing and commercial practice (including the Islamic finance and banking);
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
2) CHAMBERING PUPIL
- Minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Laws (LLB);
- Good in case research;
- Must have good attitude, confident and be able to handle multi-tasks.
- Minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Laws (LLB);
- Interested and possess sound knowledge in conveyancing and commercial practice (including the Islamic finance and banking);
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
2) CHAMBERING PUPIL
- Minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Laws (LLB);
- Good in case research;
- Must have good attitude, confident and be able to handle multi-tasks.
