LEGAL ASSOCIATE (LITIGATION)
Job Description and Requirements
We are looking for a Legal Associate to join our boutique Civil Litigation
Department, who will work directly with the Partners of the Litigation
Department. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide array of general
litigation briefs.
1. A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience or more in dealing with civil litigation
matters;
2. Possesses a valid and active Practicing Certificate (PC);
3. Sound understanding on Civil Procedure and related laws;
4. Able to navigate EFS Kehakiman for the filing of cause papers (e-filing) and
conducting e-reviews;
5. Assisting the Partners in litigation briefs, including various tasks and duties
as may be required;
6. Familiar with attending to and/or assisting with Hearings, Trials and
Appeals. Ability to conduct Hearings, Trials and Appeals unsupervised is an
added advantage;
7. Assisting the Partners in the conduct of Hearings, Trials and Appeals;
8. Meeting with and taking instructions from Clients in a professional manner;
9. Drafting letters, legal opinions, pleadings, cause papers and submissions
within short deadlines with minimal supervision;
10. Able to conduct thorough and meticulous research on legal and related
matters;
11. Proficient with online legal search databases (i.e. Lexis Nexis, CLJ, etc)
12. Able to scrutinise and analyse research and complex facts and law;
13. Able to work under pressure while maintaining a good working attitude;
14. Possesses good work ethics, good manners, hardworking, responsible, self-
motivated, solution-driven and a team player;
15. Proficient communication and drafting skills in both English and Bahasa
Malaysia; and
16. Possesses own transport.
In addition to the requirements above, candidates with the ability to start
immediately would stand at a better advantage than other candidates.

CONVEYANCING CLERK cum ADMIN
Job Description and Requirements
1. Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience;
2. To attend to administrative work;
3. To assist in office operations and administration;
4. To prepare documents, conducting searches online (i.e. SSM, CTOS, etc),
copying, scanning and faxing documents, answering phone calls, keeping
track of emails, check all incoming mail, creating and maintaining a
schedule/calendar for the Partners;
5. Drafting emails on behalf of the Partners when instructed;
6. Drafting and issuing bills and receipts;
7. To do basic accounts, bills, ledgers, etc;
8. To maintain and update all the Firm’s files;
9. Quality focused and possesses an attention to detail;
10. Good work attitude, attendance, discipline and team player;
11. Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision; and
12. Well versed with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
