Job Description:
1. Able to draft and review agreements in Bahasa Malaysia and English with minimum supervision and errors.
2. Familiar with and understanding the commercial transaction.
3. Experienced in handling merger acquisition and due diligence.
4. Able to advise and ensure compliance issues and legal issues are adhered to.
5. Able to provide legal advice on structuring legal documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements:
1. CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS AT LEAST A BACHELOR OF LAW – LLB (HONS), CERTIFICATE OF LEGAL PRACTICE AND MUST BE ADMITTED AS AN ADVOCATE AND SOLICITOR OF THE HIGH COURT OF MALAYSIA.
2. HAVE A GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF THE COMPANY’S ACT.
3. AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE.
4. EFFECTIVE SPOKEN AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN BAHASA MALAYSIA, ENGLISH AND MANDARIN.
5. STRONG INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND EXCELLENT PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS.
6. KNOWLEDGE OF CORPORATE LAW AND COMMERCIAL LAW.
7. ABLE TO DRAFT COMMERCIAL CONTRACTS, JOINT VENTURES, SHAREHOLDERS' AGREEMENTS, AND OTHER CORPORATE CONTRACTS.
8. ABLE TO HANDLE MATTERS INDEPENDENTLY AND WORK UNDER PRESSURE.
9. A TEAM PLAYER WHO IS ABLE TO WORK WITH PEERS AND SENIOR MANAGEMENT.
10. ORGANIZED AND RESOURCEFUL.
