Job Description:
Legal Associate
• To assist in litigation and corporate advisory files
• Handling and managing tasks/assignments – collating, reviewing and analysing contracts/documents, drafting of agreements, letters of demand, general letters, drafting of cause papers pertaining to litigation, research, attending court, attending meetings, handling clients, assisting/conducting hearings, full trial, appeals, other related work
• Managing & administering multiple files, corresponding with clients, preparing status reports and attending to the needful to ensure that the files are duly monitored & in order at all times
• Contribution to the firm’s business development
• Assist in other general tasks/assignments as assigned by the firm
PA/Secretary
• Managing a complex schedule, coordinating appointments, and ensuring efficient time management.
• Handling all forms of correspondence, including emails, memos, and letters, with utmost professionalism and discretion.
• Facilitating travel arrangements, including visa applications, flight bookings, hotel accommodations, and itinerary planning.
• Preparing high-quality reports, presentations, and other documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Conducting thorough research and analysis to provide critical information for decision-making processes.
• Assisting in the coordination and organization of meetings, conferences, and business events.
• Safeguarding confidential information and maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and senior executives.
• Managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
• Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Requirements for Legal Associate:
• 2-5 years post qualification experience in civil/corporate/commercial litigation
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision, and as a team
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to meet collection targets set
• Good command of the English and Malay (emphasis) languages, written and spoken
• Proficient and tech savvy in Microsoft office programs including Outlook, Word, Teams, Zoom, Google meet, platform, and Whatsapp
• Good research, drafting and opinion writing skills
• Orderly/consistent organisational, time management skills
• Eye for detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
• Continuous learner, willing to reskill and upskill
• High sense of accountability
Salary (Legal Associate) - Above market rate Gross Salary (potential additional discretionary remuneration – strict T&C applies) ranging from RM5K to RM8K
Benefits (subject to T&C on each respective benefit):

(iv) Time off of 4 – 5 days every 6 – 8 weeks

Requirements for PA/Secretary
• Bachelor's / master’s degree in business psychology, marketing, or hospitality & management.
• Those with a law degree are encouraged to apply as well.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed, those with working experience will have an added advantage.
• Organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Fluent verbal communication skills in Mandarin/Cantonese/Hokkien (minimum 2/3)
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
• Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Proactive and resourceful approach to work, anticipating needs and taking initiative.
• Professionalism and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels.
Salary – PA/Secretary: RM3,000 – RM4,000 (according to qualifications and experience).
