Job Description:
Senior Litigation Associate
Job Description
1. Handle and or manage litigation matters including but not limited to recovery cases, highly contentious general litigation disputes, and corporate and commercial disputes independently.
2. To attend Case Management and hearing and to conduct own trial without and/or with minimum supervision.
3. To keep track of the management of each file.
4. To conduct extensive research on matters handled.
5. To draft and file common pleadings, motions, notices, and other court filings.
6. Familiar with federal and state rules of procedure and evidence for document format, content, filing, etc., and ensures compliance with rules.
7. Performs and oversees both simple and complex authority and fact cite-checking; confirms case quotes and proofreads briefs and other legal documents.
8. Assists and manages trial preparations, creates trial notebooks, identifies, and organizes exhibits, coordinates witness schedules, maintains trial calendars, and communicates effectively with opposing counsel and courtroom staff.
9. Assists in the preparation of post-trial filings including briefing, motions for costs and sanctions, etc., and organizes the case for an appeal if necessary.

4. Corporate Governance: Ensure the company's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and oversee corporate governance matters, including board meetings, record-keeping, and corporate filings.
5. Contract Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate various business contracts, such as vendor agreements, licensing agreements, and partnership agreements.

• Meticulous and able to work independently under minimum supervision.
