Job Description:
1. Senior Associate
• Undertaking all activities typical of a senior associate, including drafting of contracts, legal memorandum, legal opinions and other legal instruments, as well as structuring and negotiating transactions relating to corporate commercial and projects;
• Managing and supervising the provision of advice on complex legal and, with the input from tax advisors, tax matters;
• Supervising and managing client matters; and
• Assisting with and participating in the Firm’s business development and marketing efforts, including client pitches, attending and speaking at seminars, researching and writing articles and attending business related functions.
Salary: RM13,000 per month with medical benefits.
2. Associate
• Undertaking all activities typical of a corporate legal associate, including drafting advice, opinions and contracts, negotiating contracts, managing or undertaking due diligence investigations and assisting with closing on transactions relating to corporate commercial & projects;
• Supervising and managing client matters;
• Participating actively in the Firm’s learning and development initiatives; and
• Assisting with and participating in the Firm’s business development and marketing efforts, including client pitches, attending and speaking at seminars, researching and writing articles and attending business related functions.
Salary: RM6,500 per month with medical benefits.
3. Pupil
• Assisting and supporting partners, senior associates and associates in client matters, in particular assisting with drafting, legal research, and preparing documentation;
• Participating in client meetings and calls, and other ad hoc tasks;
• Participating actively in the Firm’s learning and development initiatives; and
• Assisting with and participating in the Firm’s business development and marketing efforts, including client pitches, researching and writing articles and attending business related functions.
Allowance: RM4,500 per month.

Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Senior Associate
• Candidate must possess a Law degree (LL.B) from a reputable school with strong academic track record, and be admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaysia.
• Minimum 5 years PQE as a lawyer in a reputable law firm.
• Cross border transaction experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and technical ability and be able to draw on practical experience to deliver practical solutions.
• Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English; proficiency in Mandarin will be added as advantage.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for innovation in the firm.
• Written assessment and references will be required.

• Fluent in written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English; proficiency in Mandarin will be added as advantage.
• Written assessment and references will be required.
3. Pupil
• Having completed or is about to complete at least one of the following:
- the Malaysian Public University Law Degree recognized by
the Legal Profession Qualifying Board;
- the Bar Course (BVC, BPTC etc.); or
- the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP).
• Having achieved a minimum 2:1 (Upper Second-Class Honours) or equivalent in your degree.
• Having a passion for law and possessing strong legal research skills, a good dose of common sense, entrepreneurial mindset, and outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (a plus).
