Job Description:
(1) Junior Conveyancing Lawyer (KL office)
• To handle all conveyancing matters such as draft and review Sale and Purchase Agreement (Project/Sub-sales), Bank Loan Documentation, Perfection of Transfer & Charge, Tenancy Agreements, refinancing and other conveyancing files / commercial agreement until completion.
• To liaise with clients, bank officer, developers and various governmental bodies to ensure smooth completion of conveyancing transactions, prepare status report and attend other tasks assigned by the firm from time to time.
• To assist partners in Grant of Probate & Letter of Administration matters such as prepare and file court documents.
• Able to monitor, follow up closely and handle all the files assigned until completion with minimal supervision.
(2) Conveyancing Clerk (KL office & Penang office)
• To handle conveyancing matters, ie: sub-sales, projects, bank loans, discharge, perfection of transfer & charge and other related matters.
• Able to work efficiently and independently with minimum supervision and able to meet deadlines
• Able to liaise with clients, bank officers, agents, developers and various government bodies

Qualifications and Requirements:
(1) Junior Conveyancing Lawyer
• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognised university
• With 1 or 2 years’ experience in retail/project/commercial conveyancing field, however newly called lawyers are encouraged to apply
• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as a team with minimum supervision
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to converse, read & write in Chinese and speak in Cantonese will have an added advantage
• Positive attitude, responsible, good communication and writing skills
• Possess own transport and willing to travel domestic and overseas
• Candidates with short notice period / able to start immediately is an added advantage
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for chambering (based in Penang office only)
(2) Conveyancing Clerk (KL office & Penang office)
• Have good typing and computer skills, MS Word & Excel
• Have good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken. Candidate who can speak and write in Mandarin and speak in Cantonese will have an added advantage.
• Hardworking and committed to work
• At least 1-2 years relevant working experience in conveyancing
• Possess own transport
• Able to start work immediately are preferred
