Job Description:
(1) Associate (Corporate & Conveyancing) – Reporting to Partner
The successful candidate will be exposed to a wide range of Corporate and Conveyancing matters such as attending to corporate finance projects, corporate transactions and corporate advisory work, real estate matters ranging from property development advisory, complex land disposal and acquisition and infrastructure related matters. In addition, handling SPA, Housing Loan and conveyancing matters.
(2) Pupil (Corporate Department) – (Based in KL office)
We are recruiting a pupil with excellent attitude who have passion to work in this practice.
Successful pupils will be placed in our teams of corporate lawyers and have the opportunity to work alongside the lawyers on initial public offering, M&A and restructuring transactions, compliance and regulatory work, fund rising in the capital markets and general advisory and commercial matters.

(1) Associate (Corporate & Conveyancing) – Reporting to Partner
• Preferably 2 years upwards of work experience in legal practice / corporate and commercial work/ conveyancing / property and banking / relevant experience
• Excellence communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
• Self-motivated, independent and diligent whilst possessing team spirit
• Enjoy operating in a fast-paced environment and results driver
(2) Pupil (Corporate Department) – (Based in KL Office)
• Strong examination results
• Good language skills
• Excellent attitude
• Strong believer of teamwork and collaboration.

Overview of Organisation:
Jeff Leong, Poon & Wong was founded in 1999. Our founder partners were part of the regional cross-border team of a law firm in South East Asia with experience in cross border investments, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets.
