Job Description:
Our firm is seeking an Associate (M&A, Capital Markets and Digital Assets) and a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate (Dispute Resolution) to join our dynamic team.
As a SENIOR ASSOCIATE, you will play a key role in managing complex litigation matters, representing clients in court, and providing strategic legal counsel. You will work closely with partners and junior associates to ensure the successful handling of cases.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, from pleadings to trial.
• Conduct legal research and preparing written opinions.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation.
• Develop case strategies and provide high-level legal analysis.
• Mentor and oversee junior associates and support staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends.
ASSOCIATE (M&A, Capital Markets and Digital Assets)
• Assisting partners and lawyers on drafting or reviewing transactional (e.g. share sale agreement, shareholders’ agreement) and non-transactional agreements (e.g. employment agreement, privacy policy, users agreement).
• Conducting research and drafting legal opinion.
• Conducting legal due diligence and preparing legal due diligence report.
• Attending to clients and other works assigned by the firm from time to time.
• Writing articles/legal memo for professional development and business development

Qualifications and Requirements:
SENIOR ASSOCIATE (Dispute Resolution)
• Legally qualified and called to the Malaysian Bar.
• Must have at least 5 years' working experience in litigation practice.
• Familiar with Malaysian Court practices and procedures, Rules of Court 2012 and standard litigation concepts and procedures.
• Able to attend to clients independently.
• Responsible for the files/tasks assigned.
• Able to work independently as well as a team and under pressure.
• Committed and driven with a strong sense of accountability.
• Able to think critically and positively.
ASSOCIATE (M&A, Capital Markets and Digital Assets)
• PQE of 1 to 2 years in corporate and commercial/equity or debt capital markets/M&A practice preferably gained from reputable/leading law firms.
• Able to work under minimum supervision and independently.
• Have a strong sense of responsibility.
• Positive attitude, meticulous and committed.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high demand environment.
• Good research, drafting and opinion-writing skills.
• PQE of 1 to 2 years in corporate and commercial/equity or debt capital markets/M&A practice preferably gained from reputable/leading law firms.
• Able to work under minimum supervision and independently.
• Have a strong sense of responsibility.
