Job Description:
Conveyancing Lawyer
1. To manage real estate transactions for both commercial and residential properties for sub-sale and ensuring all transactions meet their legal obligations
2. To handle and manage all loan documentation for financing and re-financing
3. Review and draft contracts and other conveyancing documents
4. Coordinate with clients, real estate agents and other parties involved in the transaction
5. Advise clients in connection with conveyancing matters and attend signing with clients
6. Follow up with banks, developers, government bodies/agencies and related parties
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant procedures, timelines, laws and regulations
8. Monitor and follow up closely the progress for all ongoing files
9. Other tasks as assigned by the firm from time to time
Conveyancing Secretary
1. To assist lawyers in handling SPA and/or loan documentation for sub-sale and developer project files from initial stage to completion state
2. All other related conveyancing matters such as perfection of transfer and charge, discharge of charge, receipt and reassignment, tenancy agreements and etc
3. Familiar with conveyancing procedures
4. To liaise with clients, real estate agents, bank officers, developers and relevant government authorities/parties
5. To monitor progress and update clients’ files
6. Raise payment voucher and invoices, follow up on payment of invoices in a timely manner and etc.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Requirements for Conveyancing Lawyer
1. Possess Bachelor of Laws degree and current Practicing Certificate
2. Minimum 3 years’ working experience as practicing lawyer in conveyancing matters and proficiency in conveyancing procedures
3. Those with corporate conveyancing experience are encouraged to apply.
4. Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak Mandarin would be an added advantage
5. Possess good attitude, willing to learn and take responsibility, good communication skills and able to work as a team
6. Manage time well and able to meet deadline
7. Attention to details and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
8. Preferably able to start work immediately, or within short notice
Requirements for Conveyancing Secretary
1. Minimum SPM qualification
2. At least 2 years of past experience as conveyancing clerk
3. Familiar with conveyancing procedures
4. Meticulous, positive and diligent
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
6. Able to speak major Chinese dialects would be an added advantage
7. Preferably able to start work immediately, or within short notice
