Job Description:
1) Associate, Real Estate & Banking
- Involve in drafting, reviewing, commenting a wide range of corporate and commercial agreements, sale and purchase agreement.
- Provide legal advice on real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, loans.
- Involve in drafting / reviewing board resolutions, minutes, and other corporate governance documents.
- Act as a direct support role to partners, involving strategic discussions and firm’s business development related matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues and ensure timely reporting to partners.
- Work with minimum supervision.
- Be prompt in responding to client inquiries and proactive in providing updates on case progress.

2) Conveyancing Executive
- Handle and complete sale and purchase transactions, including bulk purchase and subsale with minimal supervision. Handle and complete means from preparation of signing documents, prepare correspondence, follow up and provide updates, stamping, filing of CKHT forms, presentation at the land office, extraction of title from the land office, safekeeping of documents up to closing files.
- Handle and complete loan transactions, in particular ability to handle project loans, subsale loans, refinancing, discharge of charge with minimal supervision. Handle and complete means from requesting necessary documents from the respective parties, preparation of signing documents, prepare correspondence, follow up and provide updates, stamping, presentation at the land office, advise for drawdown of loan, extraction of title from the land office, safekeeping of documents up to closing files.
- Collaborate with colleagues and ensure timely reporting to lawyers in charge and partners.
- Experience in handling Houzkey is a plus.
- Must be familiar with land offices and banks portals, and should have the ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems with ease.

3) Pupil
- To assist in real estate and property-related matters, including project developments, and loan documentation.
- Participate in legal drafting, research, client meetings, and liaising with various stakeholders such as banks, developers, and government agencies.
- Gain hands-on experience in preparing legal documents, file management, and understanding the full lifecycle of a conveyancing file.


Qualifications and Requirements:
1) Associate, Real Estate & Banking
- Degree in Law with a valid Malaysian Bar Practising Certificate and a minimum of 3-5 years PQE in corporate and commercial law, with a strong focus on company law and real estate matters.
- Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, commenting a wide range of corporate and commercial agreements, with a particular focus on transactions involving company law and real estate assets.
- Able to provide legal advice on corporate real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development. Experience in corporate banking is a plus.
- Experience in drafting / reviewing board resolutions, minutes, and other corporate governance documents.
- Possess experience in leadership roles - guided and mentored teams, including both junior associates and senior executives
- Understand financial aspects related to real estate transactions, including financing and security documentation is an advantage.

2) Conveyancing Executive
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field esp. experience working in a real estate law firm.
- Proficient in using computer system and handling bank portals.
- Good command of Bahasa Melayu and English language.
- Possess a positive attitude and the ability to do work independently with a high degree of professionalism and integrity is a must.

3) Pupil
- A recognised law degree (LL.B or equivalent)
- Completed or currently pursuing the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) or Bar qualification
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
- Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a professional attitude
