Job Description:
We are a firm collaborating with an international law firm with 97 domestic branches and 83 member law firms within its global legal service network. As part of YingKe International, our team combines local with global experience to deliver professional services to both local and international clients. 1. Litigation Associate
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Litigation Lawyer with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in general litigation and/or arbitration.

- Exposure to various areas of law, including litigation, arbitration, and advisory work, with potential opportunities to explore conveyancing, as well as commercial and corporate practice

- Ideal for candidates with a recognized law degree and strong research and communication skills, particularly LexisNexis and CLJ
3. Legal Intern
We also welcome applications for internship placements. As an intern, you will:
- Gain practical exposure to the day-to-day work of a law firm
- Assist lawyers in legal research, drafting, and case preparation
- Be involved in client and case management support tasks
- Experience the working culture of an international legal practice

Qualifications and Requirements:
Litigation Associate
1. Experience: Must be called to the Bar and qualified to practice, with hands-on trial experience.
2. Skills: Strong drafting and research skills are essential, with a demonstrated history of delivering high-quality legal work.
3. Work Ethic: A self-motivated individual with excellent time management skills, able to prioritize tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
4. Languages: Proficient in both written and spoken English and Malay. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
5. Bonus Qualities: The following attributes are advantageous but not required:
• Ability to converse in Mandarin
• Leadership roles in extracurricular activities
• Experience in debating or mooting competitions
• A degree or additional qualification in a cross-disciplinary field (e.g., business, technology, marketing) will be considered a valuable asset.
Pupil in Chambers
- Candidates must hold either a Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) or be qualified as Barristers-at-Law.
- Save for PQE, we require the same qualifications that we seek in a litigation associate, as the role is a stepping stone toward becoming one.
- Active engagement on social media is an additional advantage and will be considered during the selection process.
Legal Intern
- Must be a law student or fresh graduate currently pursuing or having completed a recognized law degree.
- Strong interest in litigation and dispute resolution, with good research and writing skills.
- Proficiency in English and Malay required; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Tech-savvy or familiar with legal research databases (LexisNexis, CLJ, etc.)
