Job Description:
Legal Assistant
1. To assist in legal research, court filings, drafting of cause papers, getting involved in getting-up for hearings and trials, and appearing in court etc;
2. To assist in preparing litigation documents for whatever matters handled by the law firm;
3.To maintain and update file status on our operation systems; and
4.To attend case management, court hearings, trials and meetings.
Chambering Student
1. Assist lawyers in preparing cause papers and legal documents;
2. Conduct legal research;
3. Carry out tasks assigned by lawyers from time to time;
4. Organised.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Legal Assistant
1. 1-2 years experience in civil litigation;
2. We seek to employ a committed and responsible individual with strong analytical and communications kills, as well as good work ethics;
3. Proactive and is a good team player
4. Able to take instruction from the supervising lawyer and execute them accordingly in a timely manner;
5. Able to work independently with minimum supervision;
6. Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Spoken and Written)
Chambering Student
1. Able to handle multiple tasks at any given time and to complete entrusted tasks within the requisite time;
2. The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with people;
3. Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Spoken and Written);
4. Good research skills;
5. Good working attitude, self-motivated with initiatives and responsibility, and a good team player;
6. Candidate with own transport is an advantage.
