Job Description:
1) Legal Assistant (Litigation)
a. 0 to 3 years PQE;
b. Assist the Partner in litigation (corporate, commercial, and intellectual property), corporate work, and occasionally conveyancing matters;
c. Preparation of pleadings, cause papers, and attending to case management (CM) and hearings;
d. Opportunity to assist and attend trials and interlocutory hearings;
e. Well-versed in Malay and English. Mandarin is an advantage for the China Desk.
2) Conveyancing Clerk
a. To assist lawyers in preparing and handling all conveyancing-related documents;
b. To prepare and attend to legal documents for conveyancing sub-sale and loan documentation;
c. To draft loan and Sale & Purchase Agreement (SPA) documents, including relevant forms and correspondence relating to loans and/or SPA matters;
d. To Handle matters relating to sub-sales, loan documentation, and perfection of transfer/charge;
e. To follow up with banks, developers, government bodies, and other relevant parties;
f. To ensure all assigned tasks and files are completed within the stipulated timeline to avoid late penalties;
g. To liaise with and maintain good working relationships with clients, bank officers, and property agents;
h. To monitor loan and SPA files from the initial stage through to completion;
i. To assist with correspondence and communication with clients, banks, and/or relevant authorities;
j. To perform general administrative duties and any other ad hoc tasks as instructed.
3) Personal Assistant (PA) cum Secretary to Managing Partner
a. To provide full personal and secretarial support to the Managing Partner in all legal and administrative matters;
b. To work closely with the Managing Partner in managing conveyancing and other legal matters as instructed;
c. To coordinate, monitor, and follow up on files, deadlines, and instructions to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion;
d. To prepare, organize, and maintain proper records and filing systems for correspondence, legal documents, agreements, and reports;
e. To handle billing-related matters including invoices, quotations, payment vouchers, and general inquiries;
f. To manage daily office administrative functions, including answering calls, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling correspondence;
g. To assist in drafting basic letters, documents, and reports when required;
h. To perform multitasking duties and undertake any other ad-hoc administrative or secretarial tasks as assigned by the Managing Partner.

Qualifications and Requirements:
1) Legal Assistant (Litigation)
a. Recognised LLB;
b. Completed CLP or holds a local university law degree;
c. Motivated, meticulous, and keen to learn;
d. Well-versed in Malay and English. Mandarin is an added advantage (for the Legal Advisory- China Desk);
e. Must be prepared to work overtime and on weekends, as and when required, depending on case demands;
f. Willing to learn proactively and be independent in finding practical solutions;
g. Able to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality;
h. Must be in good health and physically fit to perform legal duties effectively.
Benefits and Perks
a. Salary range: RM3,800 to RM6,000 (depending on file commission and additional allowance for work completed beyond the basic billable);
b. Medical Allowance: RM500 per year;
c. Transport Allowance: RM100 per month.
2) Conveyancing Clerk
a. Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in conveyancing matters;
b. Familiar with property and loan/financing documentation from major banks;
c. Familiar with the latest procedures and systems of the Land Office, LHDN, SSM, Online Appointment (OA), and other relevant authorities;
d. Familiar with banks’ online documentation systems and procedures;
e. Able to work independently with minimal supervision;
f. Possess good interpersonal skills with a positive working attitude;
g. Good communication skills and a strong team player.

3) Personal Assistant (PA) cum Secretary to Managing Partner
a. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, or equivalent;
b. Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience as a PA or Secretary, preferably in a legal field;
c. Experience in conveyancing matters will be an added advantage;
d. Well-versed in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage);
e. Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook);
f. Strong coordination, organizational, and interpersonal skills;
g. Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision;
h. High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion;
i. Good attendance record, punctual, and in good health.
