Job Description:
Pupil in Chambers
The Pupil in Chambers will work closely with the partner and be involved in a wide range of litigation and conveyancing matters, including:
1. Assisting in litigation matters, including drafting correspondence, cause papers, applications, and affidavits, attending court, and supporting the legal team at all stages of proceedings;
2. Assisting in conveyancing matters, including drafting and preparing sale and purchase agreements, land office documents, CKHT forms, and related documentation;
3. Conducting legal research and preparing written opinions when required; and
4. Liaising and communicating with clients, government authorities, and relevant stakeholders.
This position offers meaningful exposure to active files and the opportunity to develop strong practical legal skills.
Conveyancing Clerk
1. Handling conveyancing matters, with a strong focus on sub-sale transactions;
2. Preparing and managing loan documentation, perfection of transfer, discharge of charge, adjudication, CKHT, and related matters;
3. Liaising with land offices, clients, bank officers, and other relevant parties;
4. Providing secretarial and administrative support to lawyers; and
5. Maintaining proper file management and ensuring all deadlines are met.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Pupil in Chambers
1. Meticulous and organised;
2. Strong communication and legal research skills;
3. Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Ability to converse in Chinese is an added advantage;
4. Competent in Microsoft Office; and
5. Able to commence work on short notice.
Conveyancing Clerk
1. Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in conveyancing;
2. Good understanding of conveyancing procedures;
3. Able to communicate well in English and Bahasa Melayu;
4. Able to work independently and manage multiple files efficiently; and
5. Organised, responsible, and deadline-driven.
