Job Description:
CONVEYANCING LAWYER
Key Responsibilities:
1. To handle Sub-sales, discharge, perfection of transfer/charge, and other conveyancing matters independently.
2. Handle conveyancing files independently from initiation to completion, including sub-sale, developer projects, discharge and loan files (Maintain organized records and ensure timely follow-up on all pending matters).
3. Able to do advisory work and prepare legal opinion on all aspects of sale and purchase transaction and financing related matter;
4. Liaising with land offices, clients, bank officers, and other relevant parties;
5. To update files status on weekly basis.
CONVEYANCING CLERK
Key Responsibilities:
1. Draft, prepare, and arrange for execution of documents relating to Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPA), loan documentation, discharge of charge, and other related conveyancing instruments (Ensure all documents are accurately prepared in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements).
2. Handle conveyancing files independently from initiation to completion, including sub-sale, developer projects, and loan files (Maintain organized records and ensure timely follow-up on all pending matters).
3. Conduct land searches, title checks, and due diligence processes.
4. Monitor deadlines and ensure timely lodgement of documents with relevant authorities (e.g., land offices, LHDN and stamp offices).
5. Keep clients updated on the progress of their transactions and respond to inquiries promptly.

2. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken. Other languages will be an added advantage.
3. Able to work independently with minimal supervision, responsible, and detail-oriented.
4. Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
5. Able to travel / attend outside appointments when required (e.g. signing, client meetings, document collection/submission).

2. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken. Other languages will be an added advantage.

5. Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
6. Able to travel / attend outside appointments when required (e.g. signing, client meetings, document collection/submission).
