Job Description:
PARTNER - Real Estate Transactions (Conveyancing)
- Oversee and manage residential, commercial, project, and sub-sale conveyancing matters.
- Advise clients on sale and purchase agreements, loan documentation, and property-related transactions.
- Supervise conveyancing lawyers and clerks to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Liaise with developers, bankers, property agents, and relevant authorities (Land Office, LHDN, Stamp Office).
PARTNER - Commercial & Corporate (M&A & Pre-IPO)
- Advise on corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructurings.
- Lead due diligence exercises and negotiate transaction documents.
- Advise clients preparing for Pre-IPO, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft and review shareholders and agreements, investment agreements, and corporate documentation.
PARTNER - Litigation & Dispute Resolution
- Handle and supervise civil and commercial litigation matters at all levels of court.
- Develop litigation strategies, manage case progression, and advise clients on dispute resolution options.
- Conduct trials, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations where applicable.
- Mentor junior litigators and ensure adherence to procedural timelines and court requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Possess an LLB and be a qualified Advocate & Solicitor in Malaysia.
- Solid post-qualification experience in the relevant practice area.
- Strong leadership, file management, and client-handling capabilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage but not mandatory).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in practice growth and long-term collaboration.
REMUNERATION STRUCTURE
- Profit-sharing-based partnership (structure to be discussed and agreed).
- Flexibility for self-originated files, firm-provided files, or a mixed arrangement.
- No fixed ceiling on earning potential; remuneration directly tied to performance and contribution.
