Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Associate with ~5 PQE to join our Litigation / Dispute Resolution practice.
Qualifications and Requirements:
(a) Malaysian-qualified lawyer with around 5 years PQE
(b) Strong litigation background
(c) Hands-on experience in:
(i) Conducting trials and contested hearings
(ii) Drafting pleadings, affidavits & written submissions
(iii) Managing interlocutory applications
(d) Client-facing: able to manage clients independently with minimal supervision
(e) Language: fluent in Malay, English and Mandarin (spoken; reading Mandarin documents is a plus)
(f) Organised, reliable, and able to run files end-to-end
Role scope:
(a) Handle litigation matters independently
(b) Court appearances (hearings & trials)
(c) Work with Partners on strategy for complex disputes
(d) Some mentoring of juniors
