Conveyancing Lawyer
Job description of Conveyancing Lawyer :
1. To manage real estate transactions for both commercial and residential properties for sub-sale and ensuring all transactions meet their legal obligations
2. To handle and manage all loan documentation for financing and re-financing
3. Review and draft contracts and other conveyancing documents
4. Coordinate with clients, real estate agents and other parties involved in the transaction
5. Advise clients in connection with conveyancing matters and attend signing with clients
6. Follow up with banks, developers, government bodies/agencies and related parties
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant procedures, timelines, laws and regulations
8. Monitor and follow up closely the progress for all ongoing files
9. Other tasks as assigned by the firm from time to time
Conveyancing Clerk
Job description of Conveyancing Clerk :
1. Assist lawyers in the management of all conveyancing matters, including both sub-sale and project transactions and loan documentation related to financing and refinancing matters.
2. Liaise with clients, bankers, agents, government authorities, and other relevant parties as instructed.
3. Monitor case progress and update client files accordingly.-
4. Handle various conveyancing-related matters such as discharge of charges/receipts, reassignment, tenancy agreements, and related tasks.
5. Prepare invoices and follow up on payment of invoices in a timely manner
6. Perform ad-hoc assignments assigned by the firm as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualification of Conveyancing Lawyer:
- Bachelor Degree of Law, LL.B (Hons) and admission to the Malaysian Bar.
- Minimum 1-2 year experience.
- Competent in drafting agreement and legal research.
- Able to work independently and solution oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to travel & possess own transport.
Qualification of Conveyancing Clerk:
- SPM and above
- Minimum 2-3 year experience.
- Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage
- Willing to learn and adapt fast
- Able to multitask and meticulous in document submission
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
