Jeff Leong, Poon & Wong is looking for a Legal Associate to join our Corporate & Commercial team. The ideal candidate must be dynamic, detail oriented, and passionate about corporate law with a strong inclination towards diverse transactions.
Job Description:
1. To draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
2. To assist in handling a wide range of corporate and commercial matters
3. To conduct legal research and provide advice to clients on corporate and regulatory matters
4. To liaise with clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders
5. To support senior lawyers in managing corporate transactions and client matters
JOB TITLE 2 - LEGAL ASSOCIATE, CONVEYANCING
Jeff Leong, Poon & Wong is looking for a Legal Associate to join our Conveyancing team. The ideal candidate must be responsible, meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Description:
1. Handle sale and purchase agreements (SPA), loan documentation, and all related conveyancing matters from start to completion
2. Liaise with clients, bankers, property agents, developers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth progress of transactions.

4. Familiar with regulatory compliance, due diligence, and corporate advisory work
5. Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
6. Strong analytical, research and drafting skills
7. A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
8. Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines

Our founder partners were part of a regional cross border team of a law firm in South-East-Asia with experience in cross border investments, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets.
