Job Description:
LEGAL CLERK
• Legal Documents Drafting: Prepares legal drafts by assembling and organizing information for legal documents including agreements, correspondences, and cause papers.
• Input Data: enters all data and information, maintaining electronic copies as well as hard copies when necessary. This includes records of clients, production laws, meetings and more.
• Complete Administrative Duties: provide support and administrative services to legal departments including complete paperwork, file documents, communicate with clients, set appointments and meetings and manage reception duties, attends administrative meetings, retrieves information and documents for lawyers, handles telecommunications for the office, contacts various local, state, and federal agencies to gather information, records all interactions and prepares checklists.
• manage paper and electronic file organization, scanning and copying files, completing binder creation, indexing, coding and labeling tasks. They coordinate with the records department when gathering, documenting and storing client information to make sure that they complete these tasks in accordance with procedure.
• complete general research for the legal department and then prepare documents, draft correspondence, summarize records and findings and write up briefs, petitions and other legal documents.

LEGAL ASSOCIATES (CORPORATE)
• Preparing, drafting, and reviewing corporate & commercial agreements including financing documents.
• Manage regulatory and compliance issues.
• Advice on relevant laws, rules, and regulations relating to corporate & commercial matters.
• Attending to the tasks assigned by the firm, such as conducting deep industry and company research, whether listed or private companies.
• Experience in financial business/documents such as IPO and M&A is an advantage.


Qualifications and Requirements:
LEGAL CLERK
• Having a SPM or STPM.
• Candidates with 1 to 2 years conveyancing experience would be given priority.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Observes client confidentiality, interpersonal skill, communication skill, time management and scheduling, maintain client relationship.
• Having good typing skills, diligently attending to administrative duties and able to operate office equipment.
• Having positive attitude and able to work independently with high degree of professionalism and integrity.
• Go getter, enthusiastic and ambitious


LEGAL ASSOCIATES (CORPORATE)
• Candidate must possess at least a Degree/Bachelor's Degree/Master in Law or equivalent.
• 2 – 3 years’ experience or more in the legal firm, specializing in the corporate & commercial field.
• With a commercial and strategic approach, understanding the impact of legal issues or solutions on business operational activities.
• Proficient level in English for speaking, writing & listening of English.
• Independent, good organization and communication skills, experience in a project coordination role, good team player, and self-motivated with strong communication skills.
