Job Description:
SENIOR ASSOCIATE

• Drafting pleadings, submissions, cause papers and other written statements;
• Preparing and conducting hearing, trials in tribunal, court, arbitration or other judicial tribunal;
• Reviewing complex legal documents, performing discovery, compiling and organizing documents;
• Preparing written opinions; and
• Taking instructions, managing multiple files assigned, corresponding with clients and performing a variety of tasks independently.

PUPIL

To assist lawyers and partners of the litigation team in all matters including drafting cause papers, conducting research, writing articles and opinion.

SENIOR FINANCE EXECUTIVE

• Responsible for preparing full set of accounts, with all supporting documents;
• Responsible for preparing cash flow statements, budgeting, financial statements for the management reporting;
• Responsible for month end accounts closing and present to the Management without delay;
• Responsible for maintaining fixed assets register;
• Ensure adherence to financial, accounting and operation standard procedures;
• Responsible for preparing SST for submission on a timely basis;
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agent, banker, IRB and Customs Department for ad-hoc queries and reports;
• Support audit and tax activities;
• Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable;
• Responsible for day-to-day routine work relating to accounts and finance;
• Maintain accurate record in payroll system and accounting system including issuance of invoices and receipts;
• Generate monthly ageing and present it to the management promptly;
• Responsible for petty-cash and related matters;
• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents for record keeping;
• Perform bank reconciliation for all office and clients’ account; and
• General Admin support and other relevant ad-hoc tasks or any other issues related to finance/accounts as requested by the Management.


Qualifications and Requirements:
SENIOR ASSOCIATE

• Legally qualified and called to the Malaysian Bar;
• Must have at least 5 years' working experience in litigation practice;
• Familiar with Malaysian Court practices and procedures, Rules of Court 2012 and standard litigation concepts and procedures;
• Strong command of English & Bahasa Melayu (spoken & written);
• Able to attend to clients;
• Highly responsible for the files/tasks assigned;
• Able to work independently as well as a team and under pressure;
• Committed and driven with a strong sense of accountability; and
• Able to think critically and positively.

PUPIL

• Willing to learn, hardworking and responsible;
• Good communication skill; and
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia language;

SENIOR FINANCE EXECUTIVE

• Candidate must possess Accounting Degree / Professional Accountancy qualification or equivalent;
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field;
• Required skills: Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel, knowledge in Corematter Accounting Software is an added advantage;
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia;
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision; and
• Good organizational and time-management abilities;
