Job Description:
1. Legal Associate (Litigation)
Key Responsibilities:
a. Handle the full spectrum of civil litigation matters, including drafting cause papers, affidavits, pleadings, and submissions.
b. Manage case files independently from inception to conclusion, including attending case managements, hearings, and full trials.
c. Conduct thorough legal research and provide clear, concise legal opinions across various areas of law.
d. Engage in client consultations and develop effective legal strategies tailored to client objectives.
e. Liaise with clients, courts, and opposing counsel to facilitate the smooth progress of cases.
2. Pupil-in-Chambers
Key Responsibilities:
a. Assist senior lawyers in all aspects of civil litigation and advocacy.
b. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, cause papers, and written submissions.
c. Observe and support counsel during trials, hearings, and client conferences.
d. Gain practical exposure to procedural and substantive aspects of litigation practice.
e. Collaborate with team members in preparing strategies, submissions, and case materials.

Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Legal Associate (Litigation)
- Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
- 1-3 years of relevant litigation experience preferred.
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
- Must demonstrate a strong passion for civil litigation work.
- Dynamic, proactive, and capable of working independently and under pressure.
- Meticulous with a strong eye for detail and legal nuance.
2. Pupil-in-Chambers
- Qualified Person under the LPA.
- Strong proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- IT literate and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates a strong interest in litigation and eagerness to learn.
- Committed, responsible, and meticulous in work.
- Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
- 1-3 years of relevant litigation experience preferred.
