Job Description:
1. Legal Assistant / Junior Lawyer (Corporate Department)
(a) Draft, review and negotiate wide range of commercial contracts and legal documents.
(b) Undertake legal research on a diverse range of both legal and non-legal matters and provide opinions on corporate and regulatory matters.
(c) Assist partner/senior lawyers for transactional exercises such as due diligence, mergers and acquisitions and other transactions as requested by the firm.
(d) Assist in attending to and solving legal issues that may arise from time to time.
(e) Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders as requested by the firm.
(f) Attend any other legal work assigned by the firm from time to time.
2. Chambering Student
(a) Assist Partners and Lawyers.
(b) Undertaking research on a diverse range of both legal and non-legal topics.
(c) Attend any other legal works assigned by the firm from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Legal Assistant/Junior Lawyer
(a) Completed pupilage and have been called to the Bar.
(b) 0–3 years post-qualified experience (PQE).
(c) Good interpersonal, communication and drafting skills for agreements and opinions.
(d) Willing to learn and thrive under pressure.
(e) Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
(f) Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage (but not mandatory).
(g) Candidates with their own transportation are preferred for ease of mobility and attending off-site meetings when necessary.
(h) Proficient with Microsoft Words and Excels;
(i) Team player, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.

(a) Qualified under the Legal Profession Act to commence pupilage.
(b) Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
(c) Self-motivated, possess good working attitude and team player.
(d) Possesses own transportation preferred.
(e) Proficient with Microsoft Words and Excels;
(f) Team player, proactive and able to multi-task.
